Lifestyle change for fitness

Lifestyle change for fitness

Generally people don’t like change. By change I mean, change in routine, change of a habit, change of job. Why is this?
I have figured out that this is all down to being taken out of this thing called a comfort zone.

The truth is that this is where most people will stay. They will stay here because it is comfortable.
If you want to bring about a change then you must do something different.

“If you always do what you have always done, you will always be what you are right now”

You need to step out of your comfort zone. It will be hard at first but the more you do it the easier it will become.
I really like the above quote, it is true in every sense and it works both ways.

If you sit on a sofa night after night watching TV after work and decide that that’s how you want to play it from now on, you will always sit on the sofa and watch TV after work.
You will not lose weight or improve your health unless you get up and off the sofa!

On the flip side, if you decide to get off the sofa and start to do some exercise and stick with it until you get results; you will have moved out of your comfort zone and will start to develop and gain many health and vitality benefits.

If you keep this up for the rest of your life, you will always be developing your fitness and lifestyle into something special.

Making the move out of your comfort zone can be very tough.
You will find excuses yourself and other people will try to hold you back.
This is when you should refer back to YOUR REASONS for change and remind yourself of your reasons for improving your health and fitness.
